Massage Biceps Muscles
Biceps muscles play an essential role in most strenuous lifting activities. Because of this, they are easy to overtrain or injure. They can become shortened with overuse, which can lead to imbalances in other parts of the anatomy. Treating your biceps with the percussive massage will help elongate them, increase blood flow and assist in healing muscle fibers.
About Biceps Muscles
In human anatomy, the biceps brachii , commonly known as the biceps, consist of two-headed muscles on the upper arm between the shoulder and the elbow. Both heads arise on the scapula and form a single muscle belly attached to the upper forearm. The muscle crosses both the shoulder and elbow joints, but its main function is at the latter where it flexes the forearm at the elbow and supinates the forearm. Both these movements are used when opening a bottle with a corkscrew: first biceps unscrews the cork (supination), then it pulls the cork out (flexion).
